About Us

Our story

Welcome to Cognitive Performance & Health! We’re thrilled that you’ve found us. Here’s a bit about our journey and why we are so dedicated to helping you reach your full health potential. Dr. James Seberger, with PhDs in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, along with an M.D., and Veronica Seberger, an RN, BSN & BCN-Board Certified Neurotherapist, have been partners in life and in their mission to bring functional health care to the Wichita community. Married for 15 years, they started their private practice in 2012, excited to offer a direct primary care option that focuses on both the mind and body.

Dr. Seberger and Veronica approach health from the ground up, treating not just symptoms but uncovering and addressing underlying issues. Their whole-body methodology ensures that you receive care tailored to your specific needs, helping you to achieve overall wellness. They offer hope – hope that you can heal, improve, and lead a productive, healthy life, both physically and mentally.

The Sebergers began this journey with a simple desire: to help their own children manage anxiety without relying on medications. Realizing a broader need, they expanded their efforts to create a practice that helps hundreds achieve better brain and physical health. This philosophy of prospective health management allows them to identify and limit inflammation, significantly reducing future health risks. Patients experience controlled or normal blood pressure, balanced blood sugar levels, and improved cognitive function.

Meet our Team

Dr. James Seberger, M.D. Ph.D., developed and uses the advanced Life History medical chart process, which incorporates a comprehensive approach to health. Your health history, including dental, optical, cognitive, movement, exposures, and infectious diagnoses, as well as a multigenerational family history, are all meticulously recorded to offer a holistic perspective on your health.

Veronica Seberger, RN, BSN, BCN, has dedicated her nursing career to high-risk and trauma patients. Her experience led her to recognize and treat trauma through neurofeedback and other neurological therapies. Many individuals unknowingly carry trauma that manifests as physical symptoms, and Veronica is passionate about helping people overcome these challenges to achieve a healthier, more fulfilling life. The American Academy of Pediatrics has recognized neurofeedback as a Level 1 evidence-based practice for treating ADHD, a testament to the effectiveness of the therapies offered at our clinic.

Veronica also works with individuals aiming to enhance their cognitive function, memory, sleep, and overall performance. She is deeply committed to helping her patients reach their full potential and is supported by a compassionate team.

Natalie Yerton, MA, is not just a valued member of our team – she’s family. As Veronica’s younger sister, Natalie has been the welcoming face of our office since 2013. She is a Registered Medical Assistant and Certified Phlebotomist, but her contributions go far beyond her titles. As our Office Manager, she is often the first smile you’ll see when you walk through our doors. Natalie is also pursuing a Registered Nurse degree at Newman University and loves spending time with her family when she’s not working.

Kendra Rebold is the newest addition to the CPH family. A certified phlebotomist and medical assistant, Kendra is an integral part of our front office team. Whether she’s greeting you as you arrive or assisting over the phone, Kendra’s warmth and dedication are always evident. Married with three dogs, Kendra enjoys spending her free time with family and frequenting the local farmers market.
